Hello racers, wanted to pass along some information for this weekend's NHRA Jr. Divisional in Tucson. First we want to say welcome back, it's been a while since Tucson has hosted a jr divisional and we are going to do everything we can to make it a memorable weekend. Below are some answers to frequently asked questions and details about all of the events we have planned.

-Tucson Dragway accepts cash or credit cards.

-Tech is located at the small trailer just to the left of the main entrance.

-Fuel will be available at the track (Sunoco methanol) $4 per gallon

-Drinking water and Otter pops will be available in the staging lanes

-Staying overnight at the track is permitted all weekend but all rigs must be off property by 8am on Monday

-The nearest RV dump is on the property at the Pima county fairgrounds rv park, It's convenient and cheap

-Early parking will be available on Thursday from 12-6. After 6pm racers can stack outside main gate. There is plenty of parking, nobody needs to worry about not getting a good spot!

-Bring clothes to get wet in. We plan on having some water activities!

-Food trucks on site Saturday

Schedule:

Thursday- Parking 12:00pm - 6:00pm

Friday- Gates open at 9:00am, test and tune from 11:00am - 4:00pm. Renoll Designs shootout to follow

Saturday- Gates open at 7:00am and track will go hot at 9:00am.

Team Tucson bracket race to follow completion of divisional.

Special trophies and big checks given to Saturday's team race winners!

Sunday- Gates open at 7:00am and track will go hot at 9:00am.

 

Pricing:

Friday- Test & Tune $40 paid at the gate

Renoll Designs Shootout (6-9,10-17 and jr comp) $60 cash only, paid at the Renoll's trailer, which will be located in the first row closest to the tower.

Run order for Renoll Designs Shootout (10-17, 6-9, jr comp)

Buybacks first round only $20 cash only paid in the lanes. Buybacks will run buybacks IN second round. Potential byes are determined by best reaction time from round prior. First round potential bye will be random tech card draw. Random pairing throughout race.

Saturday-

NHRA divisional $75 paid at the gate.

Team Tucson bracket race $30 paid at the gate.

Sunday-

NHRA divisional $75

Team Tucson race included in divisional for local points.

Crew Passes: $40 Full Event - $15 Single Day

Spectator Passes: $25 Weekend - $10 Single Day
